Happy Birthday to Me!!!

It's my birthday tomorrow. And if you read my last post you know I am celebrating me this week. Me, me me me me meeeee LOL
I think this picture was from my second birthday. If I was 16 years old, I would probably find this snapshot somewhat embarrassing. But I'm going on 31 and have three kids. There is nothing that can embarrass me anymore. If I can have a 7 year old sitting in the waiting room at the dentist office, pull some feminine pads out of my purse and ask, "Why do you have diapers?" loud enough for the whole office to hear and shrug it off like it's nothing I figure I am immune to embarrassment. Come on lets face it we all have this picture as well as the naked baby pictures. Most people think I look like my mom. Actually we have been mistaken for each other more than once. But in this, I think I look more like my dad.

That is a hilarious story about the diapers. When I looked at this photo, (and I have a 30 year old daughter), I immediately thought "I used to have a spice rack just like that! I got it (one piece at a time)from the Esso gas station each time I filled up! What a cutie pie you were and still are.

I was telling my dad what I was doing on my blog this week and told him about the pic I picked. He gave me a little more insight as to how this picture came about.

My parents had stripped me down to my diaper tail, sat me in my high chair and "THEN' went to look for the camera. By the time they found the camera and came back to the kitchen I had already helped myself to the cake. Hahahaha

Hahahaha! I have a cute pic like this of my oldest son only he was dumping pancake syrup all over his head and had it dripping down his face. He's 29 now and I sure treasure that picture. Happy 31st birthday to you!!
