Blog, Blog Everywhere a Blog...

My friend encouraged me to start writing, so that is why I started blogging here. Well, we see how committed I have been to it. I started this blog back in Novemeber of last year and now this will be my third blog.

But I guess my question is how many is too many blogs? I wanted to start selling my flower arrangements and wreaths online, so I made a website. That was an experience. Then of course you have to promote your website. How do you promote your website? Run your mouth about it all over the web. That's fine for awhile, but then it gets really boring.

Since then I have shut down the website. I still make pieces for my church and friends and family. I love being able to create without pressure. There is nothing worse than a creative block.

Then I have blogs on social sites where I keep up with friends- myspace, yahoo 360, tagged. I haven't blogged on yahoo in I don't know how long. I don't think I have ever actually blogged on tagged. In fact I'm considering closing that account out. Myspace I blog on every once in awhile.

But the one I love is Squidoo and I'm starting to love this one. The only problem with Squidoo is you have to have so much content in your lens before it will ever show up in the squidoo rankings or post to google. So you have to be really good at running your mouth. So that's why I'm really starting to like this one. I have one small off the wall thought come to mind and I can vent it here. If it grows into something more I can lens it at squidoo.

Find me on Squidoo--My Squidoo Profile and links to my lenses
Here I have a better profile about me and my kiddos and alot of my arrangements are featured here.

Find me on myspace-- My MySpace Page
I love my friends on myspace. Hope my slideshows load, if they don't you'll have to have a myspace account to see my pics. I can't for the life of me figure out why that is. It didn't use to be that way.

Recycled Goodie

Have you ever tried to find flowers during Memorial Day weekend? Yeah, I found it pretty hopeless this past weekend. Most people say, "You never know what you have till you lose it." I'd like to make a new variation of this, "You never know what you have till you clean out the closets!"

Everything used in this arrangement was dug out of a closet, a plastic storage tub or a cabinet. I love yard sales. I"m always picking up baskets, tins, anything I can use in an arrangement.

The pink peony flowers were from a flower arrangement my mom rescued from the church yard sale. The other flowers were from last years fall wreath. A little washing and they are good as new. The container, even though you can't really see it, is a teapot fashioned out of grape vinve twigs and other small wood pieces and chicken wire. It was very thrifty yard sale find for about 50 cents a couple of summers back. The humming bird came in a small box of asst. birds I found again at a yard sale for a whole quarter.

I found all sorts of other things while I was cleaning out the closets around the house. Can't wait for the weekend to see what else I can come up with.
